Freedom Bear Coffee was born from late nights, early mornings, and the stubborn belief that a good cup of coffee can carry you through just about anything. We don’t do corporate fluff, watered-down brews, or trendy “coffee shop chic.” We roast coffee with backbone, bold enough for veterans, first responders, and anyone else who knows life isn’t always polite.

Our Story

I’m Damien Celaya, retired Army, three deployments deep, and fueled by more bad chow-hall coffee than I care to remember. After hanging up the uniform, I wanted to create something that wasn’t just another coffee brand, but a community. Freedom Bear Coffee is my way of giving people more than caffeine, it’s a taste of resilience, grit, and a little dark humor that gets you through the day.

From Seminar Stack’s jiu-jitsu wellness programs to Military Equestrian Foundations love of Polo to U.S. VETS and beyond. We put our money, time, and coffee where our values are.
